Science is the most expensive course to teach. Because of this, when funding gets cut for education, the first course to suffer is science. Even with remarkable teachers, the inability to experience real-world and hands on science leaves students (mostly from public schools) at a disadvantage as they continue in their education. As students get discouraged from science careers, we are missing out on a huge pool of talent that could lead to significant discoveries that change the world. All individual donations allow Rise Up to provide hands-on, real-world experiences and opportunities for students.
